Relic from the seas, season 2

Splash Woman is one of the central characters in the story.

As I mentioned before, one of the stories I'm working on right now is Relic from the seas, based on the Mega Man series of videogames.

This story has been a bit of an experiment so far, as I've used it to practice keeping a regular updating schedule of at least one chapter every week, sometimes two or three, depending on the arc I'm writing and how long the chapters are. Something else I've tried is to divide the story by arcs and by seasons as that allowed me to take a break this month, which I needed to complete some very important, personal things in real life.

Well, the second season of the story is going to start in chapter 47 and will deal with at least a few of the elements that were only hinted at in the first three story arcs.

I already have most of season two drafted, so the updating process should go smoothly, unless I get busy in real life, but even then I'll still try to keep updating at least once a week.

Isn't it difficult at times?

I'm sure you've been there. You have an idea, you start writing it and everything seems to be going well and then... you just don't know how to continue. Or you write yourself into a corner. Or you lose interest. Or you take a break to deal with real life events and inspiration vanishes.

And then nothing in your story seems to work anymore and it ends up incomplete for months or years... or a decade.

There isn't any cure for that and no magic fixes either.

The only thing that you can do is to be disciplined, push through and write more, because this is the only way you may regain that lost motivation.
